The Redring RP1 Powerstream Instantaneous Water Heater is one of the most popular instant water heaters used to delivers instant hot water at the point of use. The compact and unique design of the RP1 eliminates the need for centrally stored hot water cylinders saving on electricity usage and important space.
The RP1 is the little brother in this fantastic range of instant water heaters, if you require better performance then there is either the RP10.8 or the 12kW RP12 Powerstream which is the highest rated single phase instantaneous water heater on the UK market.
The Instantaneous Water Heater provides the flexibility demanded in extensions and other hot water requirements. Instantaneous Water Heaters can help reduce costs on what would be more expensive solutions.

The table above shows the approximate end water temperature which can be expected from Redring Powerstream water heater for different flow rates. The temperature of the mains supply can vary from 5C in winter up to about 20C in summer, with a mean average of about 12C. To work out the flow rate in your property take the feed and see how long it takes to fill 1 litre, if its 15 seconds then you know your flow rate is around 4lts/min, if it takes 10 seconds then you flow rate is 6lts/min. Therefore at 4ltrs a minutes the RP1 would deliver water at either 39c & 54c for winter and summer but at 6lts a minutes then the RP1 would only delivery water at a lower 28c & 42c.
Accessories
In shower applications, we only recommend the use of a Redring approved shower mixer kit: Chrome and white mixer with white accessory kit and variable spray shower head.
Note
For hand-wash applications when using for example the RP1, we only recommend the use of Redring approved 1/4 turn lever control ceramic disc operated spray tap which will enhance the delivery performance on dual-outlet installations.
