Ceiling mounted directional PIR occupancy switches are used for the automatic control of lighting, heating, ventilation or air-conditioning loads - switching on when an area is occupied, and off when the area is vacated.
Each Danlers directional ceiling mounted PIR occupancy switch comprises of:
- a passive infra-red quad person detector
- an adjustable time lag before switch-off
- a fully adjustable photocell override, to give the option of keeping the lights off on bright days
- a relay for switching up to 6 amps (1500W) of any type of load, including fluorescent lights and fans

Danlers ceiling mounted directional PIR occupancy switch has been designed to give a directional view of the activity to be monitored. Detection angle 120° and can be rotated and lowered to a 45º angle
CEDR 6PLR
The long range version of Danlers ceiling mounted directional PIR occupancy switch has a long range, narrow detection beam specifically designed for corridors and storage aisles.
Can be rotated and lowered to a 45º angle.

Time lag range: 10 seconds to 40 minutes in 9 steps
Photocell range: 100 to 1000 lux, and inactive
Loading: Up to 6 amps (1500W) of any type of load (including fluorescent lights and fans)
