The Ti version of the Dimplex Contrast convector heater has a 24-hour programmable timer (Models DXC20Ti, DXC30Ti and DXC30FTi). This enables daily heating needs to be programmed in advance, a manual override enables the heater to provide instant heat during an 'off' period without affecting the pre-set programme.

All models of the Dimplex Contrast convector heater range are wall mountable, making them ideal for applications where a portable heater is not required, particularly in commercial situations such as temporary and site accommodation.

Great heater, quite compact so takes up little space but it warms the room up really fast. I can't comment on how economical it is but we only use it as an occasional top up heater so it should be fine for that purpose.

This item arrived with a small scratch on the top. I'm rather disappointed with it. The picture showed a convector heater with a nice plain front, but this one has an ugly grill on the front, presumably for the fan. If I had known this, I would not have bought the fan model. Also, control is difficult, only low or high (not 1, 2 or 3 Kw, as I expected), and the fan will not blow cold air. The marks on the thermostat knob are unreadable, so the thermostat is a waste of time. I think a simple 3Kw model with plain front and controls would be more useful.

This was exactly what I needed. Bought to replace an existing gas fire, the Dimplex convector + fan heater was much cheaper than an equivalent gas fire especially at the e-Tradecounter price and with very prompt delivery.
