The exclusive design of the DeLonghi Vento features the 'Venturi Effect' - the effect of creating an internal chimney-like structure to increase convective airflow. The main radiator body is encased by a surrounding second outer shell to create a chimney-like space in between the main radiator body and the outer shell. Air is drawn in at the bottom, heated by the main radiant heat of the radiator, and is then expelled at the top. This convective effect increases the speed at which the room is heated, in addition to the normal radiant heat produced by the Vento radiator.
